Concept of Transparency in Futures Trading

In this context of financial law, the following is a definition of Transparency: Transparency in financial markets refers to the ability of a wide group of market participants and the public to access basic information describing market activity including the price at which a product, service, or asset is trading. Post-trade transparency refers to information about trades that have recently occurred, including execution price and transaction information. Pre-trade transparency refers to information about bids and offers, including bid-ask spreads and quantities available.
