Concept of Required Transaction in Futures Trading

In this context of financial law, the following is a definition of Required Transaction: Refers to those swaps transactions on swap execution facilities that are subject to the trade execution mandate and thus must be traded on a SEF or DCM. CFTC rules require SEFs to offer certain methods of execution for required transactions. See Permitted Transaction.
