Concept of Long Form in the context of derivatives contract, by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA): A confirmation that is independent of any master agreement incorporated by reference. Since the inception of Master Confirmation Agreements (MCAs), this term has also been used to refer to the MCA, which incorporates a set of ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc.)market definitions.
