Concept of Inflation-Indexed Debt Instrument in Futures Trading
In this context of financial law, the following is a definition of Inflation-Indexed Debt Instrument: Generally a debt instrument (such as a bond or note) on which the payments are adjusted for inflation and deflation. In a typical inflation-indexed instrument, the principal amount is adjusted monthly based on an inflation index such as the Consumer Price Index.
