Concept of In Sight in Futures Trading
In this context of financial law, the following is a definition of In Sight: The amount of a particular commodity that arrives at terminal or central locations in or near producing areas. When a commodity is ‘in sight,’ it is inferred that reasonably prompt delivery can be made; the quantity and quality also become known factors rather than estimates.
